Still using physical SIM data

If you notice your home carrier is being charged for data, or your evwala data isn’t being used, your phone’s data line is set to the wrong SIM.

  1. Go to Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data.
  2. Select your evwala eSIM (not your home SIM).
  3. Go back, tap the evwala eSIM line, and confirm Data Roaming is on.
  1. Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs.
  2. Tap Mobile data and select your evwala eSIM.
  3. Tap the evwala eSIM and confirm Roaming is on.
  1. Go to Settings → Connections → SIM Manager.
  2. Under Mobile data, select your evwala eSIM.
  3. Go to Mobile Networks and confirm Data Roaming is on.

To prevent your home carrier from being used for data:

  • iPhone: Settings → Cellular → tap your home SIM → Data Roaming → Off
  • Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → tap home SIM → Roaming → Off
  • Samsung: Leave Data Roaming on globally, but set Mobile Data to your evwala eSIM only.
