Install eSIM on Samsung

After purchasing your eSIM via WhatsApp, you’ll receive a QR code. Follow these steps to install it on your Samsung Galaxy phone.

Before you begin

• Make sure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi
• Have the QR code ready — either on another screen or printed out
• Your Samsung must be running One UI 2.0 (Android 10) or later

Steps

1. Open Settings on your Samsung.
2. Tap Connections.
3. Tap SIM Manager (or SIM card manager).
4. Under “eSIMs,” tap Add eSIM.
5. Tap Scan QR code from service provider.
6. Point your camera at the QR code we sent you in WhatsApp.
7. Tap Add when the plan details appear.
8. Wait for the eSIM profile to download — this takes a few seconds.
9. Tap Done.

Samsung-specific tip

On Samsung devices, you can also add an eSIM by going to Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add eSIM → Scan QR code. If you see “Add mobile plan” instead, tap that — it’s the same thing.
