Switch between SIMs

Most modern phones support dual SIM — your physical home SIM and your evwala eSIM can coexist. Here’s how to manage them.

  • Calls & texts: Keep using your home physical SIM for phone calls and SMS.
  • Mobile data: Switch to your evwala eSIM for internet data.

This way you stay reachable on your home number while using evwala for data.

How to switch data lines

iPhone

Section titled “iPhone”
  1. Go to Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data.
  2. Select your evwala eSIM for data.
  3. Your home SIM stays active for calls and texts.

Android

  1. Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs.
  2. Tap Mobile data and select your evwala eSIM.
  3. Your home SIM stays active for calls and texts.

Samsung

  1. Go to Settings → Connections → SIM Manager.
  2. Under Mobile data, select your evwala eSIM.
  3. Your home SIM stays active for calls and texts.
